Who runs it
InvestormapBot is the crawler of investormap.eu, an overview of funding for European startups: investors, grants, loans, accelerators and other programmes, from idea stage to Series C.
What it fetches
- Public pages of funders: programme and call pages, investor and fund pages, and the listing pages that link to them.
- Documents linked from those pages that describe a call (guides, conditions), one level deep.
- Public APIs, such as the EU Funding & Tenders Portal search API.
- News feeds: only the headline and summary in the feed. Articles themselves are not fetched.
It does not log in, submit forms, or collect personal data. investormap publishes its own short summaries with a link to the source, never copies of your pages.
How it behaves
- It reads and follows your robots.txt (re-read at least every 24 hours), including Crawl-delay.
- At most one request per second per domain, one request at a time. Most sites are visited weekly.
- Unchanged pages are detected and not processed again.
- A headless browser is used only for pages that show no content without JavaScript; images, fonts and media are not loaded.
How to opt out
Add this to your robots.txt. The bot stops fetching your site within 24 hours:
